About Stefani Rogers!

This is a difficult post to make, I don't want to sound like I'm tooting my own horn! I was born in Anchorage, Alaska but raised in Middleton, Idaho. I was adopted at birth, which explains everything that's wrong with me..... JUST KIDDING!!! I have the best parents ever! I grew up on a horse farm, my dad bred, and sold cutting horse's! We always had horses, dogs, cats, and most the time we had cows to! I grew up camping, swimming, dancing, and playing soccer! As a child I also played tee ball, and basketball, and in high school I was a cheerleader!

Brooklyn and mommy!

I have had a few jobs in my life, including working at Farmers Insurance, setting up weddings and assisting a wedding coordinator-which was the best job ever- and as an in home health care taker for medically needy children! I am a certified phlebotomist, and plan to continue my education and get my nursing! But for now I am enjoying being a mom!

I try and make myself the best person I can be but I haven't mastered it yet, it's a full time job!

About Travis Rogers!

Travis was born in Twin Falls, Idaho and raised in Gooding, Idaho! He grew up with a deep rooted love and passion for horses. He has been a roper his whole life. From roping cattle during branding season at local ranches, to roping the feet of neighborhood girls and making them fall-all in good fun, of course- to roping in rodeos and winning buckles! He also played many sports growing up including but not limited to basketball, soccer, and swim team! He still enjoys doing sports when he gets the chance, especially with our son, when we get him! After high school he went to college for a year at CSI in Twin Falls Idaho! He welcomed his first niece during this time, whom he often used to "pick up" girls! Nothing attracts college ladies like a adorable newborn baby!

After a year of college, Travis took a brake to serve his Lord and go on a mission! He was called to the DC south mission, he loved every minute of it! He learned so many life lessons and met so many great people! He also met his first wife while on his mission-but I won't get into the story! Travis is a certified Equine Massage therapist, and has his Bachelors in Criminal Justice! He has worked for sportsman's warehouse, as a police officer in Twin Falls, Idaho, and as a corrections officer in a half way house for troubled boys, also in Twin Falls! He currently works for GEICO as an Auto Damage Adjuster and has for the past 4 years.... But we will get into that in another post!

He has an over powering love for the out doors! Including but again not limited to, hunting, fishing, camping, 4-wheelering, hiking, and biking. He is a joy to be around and touches everyone's life! He is a grate friend and am amazing father and husband! We all love him very much and are so blessed to have him in our lives!

Caden Travis Rogers-born June 6, 2002!

Caden is my son by marriage, some call him my step-son, I say their idiots! He's still my son! He just gets two moms to boss him around! =) He was 6 years old when he entered my life so I don't know what he was like as a baby but I will share what I can. Caden stopped growing at about 34 (I think) week gestation. He was delivered early at 36 weeks and spent many weeks in the NICU. They aren't really sure why he stopped growing just that he did! I do know that he was small enough that his blessing outfit fits in a 8x11 picture frame!

Our first Christmas as a Family!

Since Caden has been in my life he has been nothing but a joy! He loves playing with his sister, playing sports! He love swinging but has swim lessons! He flirts with all the girl, and enjoys his time with all his friends! He lives with his mom Wrayla and "step" dad Josh, or I call them his mom and dad Spencer (that's their last name), in Nebraska. He comes to visit us for 2 months in the summer and usually every other big holiday! He also has 2 brothers on his moms side! He is a great kid and a definite blessing in our lives! I am so grateful to be his mama Rogers!

Even though he was very early and tiny when he was born, he sure hasn't let that top him from growing! The doctors predicted him to be around 6'7" as an adult! Let me tell you he is well on his way! He is 10 years old now and wearing size 14 clothes, he's the tallest by far in his grade, and he towers over his cousins that are 2+ years older then him! He is almost as tall as me! He will be looking down on me before I know it!!! He's a good kid though and we sure love and miss him!!!
I love this boy!

Brooklyn Rai Rogers!- born December 27, 2007.

After a very easy pregnancy, up until preterm labor two weeks before she was born, and the most easy labor and delivory you have ever seen or heard of, Brooklyn Rogers was born at Mercy Medical Center, Nampa, Idaho, on December 27, 2007 at 9:27am, weighing 6lbs 14ozs, and 19inchs long! She was tiny and perfect! Literally perfect, she never cried! I didn't hear her really cry till around 6 months old! She would get antsy and whine when she was hungry or needed a bum change but other then that she loved life, smiled all the time, and never was fussy!!! Before 6 months old really the only time she cried was getting out of the bath, as in the picture below, she loved her bath time, and cried because she had to get out!

She started getting sick on a regular basis only weeks after birth and has continued this through out her life! She was life flighted to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah at age 2 1/2! During her stay she was diagnosed with sever Asthma and has done a lot better since then. They still think she may have some additional health issues because she still continually gets sick. They are still doing tests and researching as to what is causing her medical problems. She has since been diagnosed with spastic bladder syndrome and Urinary Track Reflex desease. Poor girl can't catch a brake! We continue to fight for answers and to help her have the best and healthiest life possible!

Brooklyn is a very happy girl! She loves to dance, sing, and read books! I over hear her singing primary songs to her sisters, and it melts my heart! Her favorite I think is "popcorn popping"! She loves church and and her teacher and gets mad if she misses a Sunday! Dresses are often her clothing of choice and is always dressing up in princess dresses. She is a feisty five year old that has plenty of attitude to share! She loves being a big sister and is usually very helpful! She is definitely a mamas girl!!! She is very excited to be starting Kindergarten in the fall! She is a very good little artist and enjoys coloring and drawing me pictures! She also enjoys music and movies!

Kimber Marie Rogers- born May 29, 2012

In September of 2011 Travis and I started discussing the topic of trying to add another addition to our growing family. After trying for a year before success with Lexi, we figured it would take a while. Before we even had the opportunity to discuss it in great depth, we found out there wasn't any need to discuss much further, we were already pregnant! Kimber Marie Roger was born 2 weeks and 6 days before her due date the 17th of June, which came as no surprise, all my others we 2+ weeks early but she ended up coming sooner then she should have. She arrived at 4:27am on May 29, 2012, weighing in at 7 lbs 8 ozs, 20 1/2 inches long! Even though she was the biggest out of the three girls, her lungs weren't quite developed yet and had to spend 5 days in the NICU before she could come home! We were unable to even hold her for the first 36 hours after she was born! The longest 36 hours of my life!!! She has been happy and healthy since she left the hospital and has no further complications, for that we continue to count our many blessings!

In the NICU hours after birth!

She has been nothing but a joy in our family! We all feel so blessed and lucky to have her! I love waking up to her smiling face! She sure has packed on the pounds! She is now 7 1/2 months and loves to roll over and play with her toys! She is very attached to her blanket but her binky is her 'Best' friend! She loves her swing and her jumperoo. She keeps mommy on her toes! Fun facts about Kimber, she is named after a hand gun! Bet you can guess who named her, I will give you a hint... It wasn't me! I still love her name though. Also she was born with a funny shaped earlobe! It literally looks like someone took a chunk out of it. It's the running joke that Heavenly Father love her so much he had to keep a part of her in heaven!!! (probably not to far from the truth!) =) She is our little miracle!

7 1/2 months old!

Lexi Lee Rogers-born August 17, 2010

After trying for a whole year, Travis and I finally got the news we had been waiting for, we were expecting another baby! After going through multiple complications and several months of bed rest, we were finally induced, and welcomed our second baby girl into the world! Lexi Lee Rogers was born on August 17, 2010 in Idaho Falls, Idaho in the Eastern Idaho Reginal Medical Center at 12:03pm by Dr. Steve Robison! She weighed in at 6lbs 9ozs, and 20inches long! When she was born the cord was wrapped tightly around her neck. She was completely blue and not breathing. The Dr. Worked fast to get her untangled and the nurses gave her a little bit of oxygen and in just a few short minutes she was pinked up, screaming, and well on her way to becoming the monkey head she is now!

Lexi has many different sides! She absolutely loves her baby sister! She is so tender and caring, and wants to love on her baby sister all day long! She loves to play dress up and be a princess. She loves to sit on mommys lap and read books and sing songs. She also loves to color and play games. Along with her more tender caring side she has a "boyish" side! She can rough n' tough with the best of them. Watch out she has a mean right hook! She doesn't mind getting dirty or make disastrous messes out of all sorts of household products, in fact she welcomes it, and rough housing seems to be in the daily schedual! She was our mute baby for almost 2 years but now at 2 1/2 she is a talking fool! Her nick name for a long time was Buddha baby, cause she was one chunky monkey, and would eat anything you put in front of her!!! She has been such a joy to watch grow and develop! I'm one lucky mommy!
